we're hitting those toddler days
Behavior stages! It's fantastic...I just turned to see Norah using a pencil in my sketchbook and she started to creep toward writing on the wall. I said, "uh uh..." and she jumped and looked at me with a cute, but slightly afraid little face. The combination of her knowing she did something wrong and her being mindful of my tone makes me glad! We do have times where she is testing her limits so it has been a learning experience for us all. On the whole she is a really great kid and responds quickly. (unless of course it's really hot, she's mad and fighting a cold all at the same time....ooooh, trouble!)
The patio is where we like to spend our mornings and late afternoons. She loves to water the plants with us or just walk around touching each plant. It's been quite hot lately so I put her bathing suit on and wet her with the hose. (Daddy didn't want to bother with a bathingsuit on this particular day...)
(relaxing with a snack during Auntie Angela's visit in May)
Here she is at our Memorial Day "indoor BBQ" - showing off her percussion skills. The next photo is when she was dancing with "Melanie Lips" to the jazz band at the Whole Foods lounge (yes, they have free GOOD jazz at the cafe in Whole Foods on Sunday afternoons!). She's destined to be a "smooth rhythm cat," yo.
This was outside at Hill Center after her stroller nap. She loves it when there is a step or something that is just the right height for her to sit down without assistance.
Daddy fixes her hair too. He's pretty good at it!
Making funny faces with Mommy. OH so funny!
