Growth and change with the seasons

Every year I am in awe of how the seasons change. After the forsythia, saucers and daffodils come the red buds, cherry blossoms, tulips and finally the dogwood. Well, those are my favorites to see but I'm sure there are plenty to mention.

As far as I can tell our little girl loves to be outside. She can say, "dut" for dirt, "wowah" for flower and "ox" for rocks...her favorite things right now in the yard. She likes to bring the rocks in the car with her, of course. Oh yes, and there is the favorite necklace!

back at home

We are moving back into our house this week! While waiting for the locksmith to re-key the locks, Norah & I took a few candids in the old office that will become her bedroom. "Bah-ba-yee, orange walls!"

(the gunk under the lip is a piece of half-eaten bread)

It has been a wonderful blessing to stay at my parents' place for the last six months. We were not able to find another home that would suit us so we are excited to get back into our own home. We had fabulous tenants and the house is in great shape! A slow move is on for the next couple of weeks and we should be settled by the time Lolo & Lola return from the Philippines in May.

finally, a snow day!

Barely an inch, I know...
but it was snow!
